“Data” means information which is stored electronically, on a computer, or in certain paper-based filing systems;

“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“Data Subject”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person and where referred to in this policy includes special categories of Personal Data.

Collecting personal data

We may collect personal information in connection with job applications within the careers section of our site. For the job application, you will be required to send an email to info@mestagtx.com providing your name (first and last name) and email address in order for us to contact you in relation to the job you are applying for. We also request a CV and covering letter to accompany your application but please note, we do not require any additional personal data within your CV and covering letter beyond your name, contact phone number and contact email.

None of the information above will be retained in databases on our website. We will not share your information with any third parties or use it to send you unsolicited communications from us.

Requesting information we hold about you

The Data Protection Laws give you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Data Protection Law. Individuals will not have to pay a fee to access personal data. However, we may charge a reasonable fee if the individual’s request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with an individual’s request in these circumstances.

Protecting your personal information and data retention

Personal information disclosed to us is not retained within databases on our website. It is kept secure, accurate and up to date within our GDPR compliant systems.
